We are proud to say we are currently the only pickleball brand able to recycle pickleballs!
Pickleball brings people together. But with millions of plastic pickleballs produced each year, too many end up cracked, tossed, and forgotten in landfills. That doesn’t sit right with us.
That’s why we’ve partnered with P3 Cares, a nonprofit leading the charge to recycle used pickleballs and research sustainable alternatives.
Our mission is to keep pickleballs out of landfills and in the game, turning every player into a part of the movement to protect our sport and our planet.
What P3 Cares Does
Traditionally, pickleballs cannot be recycled, but P3 Cares makes it possible.
Recycling Bins for Communities – Free bins help local courts collect old or cracked pickleballs instead of sending them to the trash.
Sorting & Recycling – Every ball is processed so the plastic can be reused for other products — and eventually, even for making new pickleballs.
Innovation for the Future – P3 Cares funds research into biodegradable pickleballs, so the sport we love can also be kind to the planet.
The Impact So Far
We have already made waves in pickleball communities across the country.
In Lexington, KY, a parks department drive collected over 145 old pickleballs, keeping nearly ten pounds of plastic out of the landfill. Players say it best: “Now to be able to put them in the recycle bin makes you feel so much better than throwing them in the trash.”
Every small act — every recycled ball — adds up to something bigger. Together, we can protect the game and the environment for generations to come.
